SEN Teaching Assistant, Grade 2

 

Start Date: As soon as possible, subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks.

Contract type: Grade 2 - 30 hours 25 minutes per week (8.50am – 3.25pm plus 1-hour staff meeting on a Wednesday claimed via overtime), term time only plus 5 TED days.

Salary: TA2, SCP 5-6 (£26,281 - £26,674): pro rata’d actual salary: £18,979.80 - £19,263.62 Includes Special Needs Allowance.

 

We are looking to increase our team of amazing Teaching Assistants as part of our continued growth and have some fantastic opportunities available for Grade 2 SEN Teaching Assistants to join our close-knit team at Rigby Hall School, which is an all age special school in Bromsgrove.

We are a busy school with all of our staff committed to doing the best they can for our wonderful pupils.

Full time Class Teacher with SEN1 allowance 

 

Start date: April 28th 2025, subject to pre-employment checks.

Salary range:   Main pay scale (M1-M6) to Upper pay scale (UPS1-UPS3), plus SEN1 allowance. 

 

We are excited to offer the above opportunity at our popular 4 -19 special school for pupils with moderate, severe and complex learning difficulties, that include challenging behaviours and SEMH.

You must be able to deliver exciting and engaging activities and be a good communicator, able to lead the class, work flexibly and be able to manage and work together with our teaching assistants. You must be able to teach within our MLD, SLD or Complex needs classes, which will be discussed further at interview.

You will have skills and understanding of a range of teaching and learning strategies to make a positive impact on the children’s progress, considering their learning styles, communication and sensory needs.
