Pupil Premium

The pupil premium is additional funding given to publicly funded schools in England to raise attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers and supporting children and young people with parents in the regular armed forces.

Pupil premium funding is available to both mainstrean and non-mainstream schools.

Allocations

Allocations are made based on the school which the eligible pupil attends at the time of the January school census.

OFSTED

Our recent OFSTED (September 2012) identified that school were spending the pupil premium appropraitely and they identified that FSM students were making as good as, if not better, progress than other students.

In the 2014 to 2015 financial year, schools will receive the following funding for each child.
